OnePlus 5 with horizontal dual rear camera setup leaked on Weibo

OnePlus 5 launches this summer, the company said it would probably be a “surprise.” We know that many of the flagship phones come to OnePlus through leaks. Now a new image claimed to be the OnePlus 5 seen on the Chinese network site Weibo reveals a horizontal configuration of the double rear camera. The latest information is a surprise because all the rumours surrounding OnePlus 5 in the past have shown a dual-chamber vertical setup on the back.
Moreover, the LED flash is placed on the right side of the camera. The antenna lines are visible at the top and bottom of the back cover. There is a start button that works like a fingerprint sensor. Bottom grilles are placed double-speaker and a USB Type-C charging port between them in the centre.
The image reveals OnePlus 5 in a variant of black, with the phone placed on a bright red background. It is interesting to note that the image has the familiar logo OnePlus top left. UNPlus 5 has already been seen in Weibo. However, the picture was very different from the previous one, as it presents the double vertical rear camera in the device. Also, there was no antenna line. The LED flash is placed between the two lenses at the rear.
While the previous image showed a design change of OnePlus 3T, the same can not be said for the last filtered image. What is common in both images is the lack of a 3.5mm headset helmet. It is rumoured that OnePlus leave a 3.5mm headphone jack and rely on USB type C for headphones. In the current OnePlus 3T, the headphone jack is on the bottom of the unit.
Of course, leaks should be taken with a pinch of salt, because there is no way to confirm if they are authentic until OnePlus makes an official announcement.
In addition, OnePlus 5 must pack an 835 octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and a possible 256GB version of storage and more 64GB and 128GB versions. OnePlus 5 is also supposed to be supported by a larger 3600 mAh battery, with the Dash 2.0 charge version.
Meanwhile, it has partnered with OnePlus “DxO Labs”, which is the reference of classic mobile photography DxOMark. According to OnePlus, they did it to upgrade their cameras to their capabilities.
